القارعة ١

ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ١

مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ٢

What is the Striking Disaster?

وما ادراك ما القارعة ٣

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ٣

ﭥ

And what will make you realize what the Striking Disaster is?

يوم يكون الناس كالفراش المبثوث ٤

يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ ٤

ﭦ

ﭪ

ﭫ

˹It is˺ the Day people will be like scattered moths,

وتكون الجبال كالعهن المنفوش ٥

وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ ٥

and the mountains will be like carded wool.

فاما من ثقلت موازينه ٦

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٦

ﭱ

ﭲ

ﭳ

ﭴ

ﭵ

So as for those whose scale is heavy ˹with good deeds˺,

فهو في عيشة راضية ٧

فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ ٧

ﭷ

ﭸ

ﭹ

ﭺ

they will be in a life of bliss.

واما من خفت موازينه ٨

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٨

ﭾ

ﭿ

And as for those whose scale is light,

فامه هاوية ٩

فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌۭ ٩

their home will be the abyss.

And what will make you realize what that is?

نار حامية ١١

نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ ١١
