In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

93:1

والضحى ١

وَٱلضُّحَىٰ ١

ﭲ
ﭳ

By the morning sunlight,

والليل اذا سجى ٢

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ٢

ﭴ

ﭵ

ﭶ

ﭷ

and the night when it falls still!

ما ودعك ربك وما قلى ٣

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ ٣

ﭸ

ﭹ

ﭺ

ﭻ

ﭼ

ﭽ

Your Lord ˹O Prophet˺ has not abandoned you, nor has He become hateful ˹of you˺.

وللاخرة خير لك من الاولى ٤

وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ٤

ﭾ

ﭿ

ﮀ

ﮂ

ﮃ

And the next life is certainly far better for you than this one.

ولسوف يعطيك ربك فترضى ٥

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ ٥

ﮄ

ﮅ

ﮆ

ﮇ

ﮈ

And ˹surely˺ your Lord will give so much to you that you will be pleased.

الم يجدك يتيما فاوى ٦

أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًۭا فَـَٔاوَىٰ ٦

ﮉ

ﮊ

ﮋ

ﮍ

Did He not find you as an orphan then sheltered you?

ووجدك ضالا فهدى ٧

وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّۭا فَهَدَىٰ ٧

ﮎ

ﮏ

ﮐ

ﮑ

Did He not find you unguided then guided you?

ووجدك عايلا فاغنى ٨

وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًۭا فَأَغْنَىٰ ٨

ﮒ

ﮓ

ﮔ

ﮕ

And did He not find you needy then satisfied your needs?

فاما اليتيم فلا تقهر ٩

فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ ٩

ﮖ

So do not oppress the orphan,

واما السايل فلا تنهر ١٠

وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ ١٠

ﮝ

ﮞ

ﮟ

nor repulse the beggar.¹

واما بنعمة ربك فحدث ١١

وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ ١١

And proclaim the blessings of your Lord.
