Al-Ahqaf 46:11 وقال الذين كفروا للذين امنوا لو كان خيرا ما سبقونا اليه واذ لم يهتدوا به فسيقولون هاذا افك قديم ١١
وَقَالَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
لِلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُواْ
لَوۡ
كَانَ
خَيۡرٗا
مَّا
سَبَقُونَآ
إِلَيۡهِۚ
وَإِذۡ
لَمۡ
يَهۡتَدُواْ
بِهِۦ
فَسَيَقُولُونَ
هَٰذَآ
إِفۡكٞ
قَدِيمٞ
١١
Och förnekarna av sanningen säger om dem som blivit troende: "Hade det funnits något gott [i detta budskap] skulle inte dessa [eländiga stackare] haft så bråttom att anta det före oss." Och när de inte vill låta sig ledas av det, säger de: "Allt detta är [bara] gamla lögner."

The Qur'an is Allah's True Speech and the Position of the Disbelievers and the Muslims towards it
Allah says,
قُلْ
(Say) meaning, `O Muhammad to these idolators who disbelieve in the Qur'an.'
أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ
(Tell me! If it was) meaning, this Qur'an.
مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ وَكَفَرْتُمْ بِهِ
(from Allah,
