Al-Anbiya 21:40 بل تاتيهم بغتة فتبهتهم فلا يستطيعون ردها ولا هم ينظرون ٤٠
بَلۡ
تَأۡتِيهِم
بَغۡتَةٗ
فَتَبۡهَتُهُمۡ
فَلَا
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
رَدَّهَا
وَلَا
هُمۡ
يُنظَرُونَ
٤٠
Însă acesta va veni asupra lor pe neaşteptate şi ei vor fi uluiţi şi nu îl vor putea îndepărta de ei şi nici nu li se va mai da răgaz1.

The Idolators seek to hasten on the Punishment
Allah also tells us how the idolators seek to hasten punishment upon themselves, out of denial, rejection, disbelief, stubbornness and a belief that it will never happen. He says:
