Al-Anbiya 21:97 واقترب الوعد الحق فاذا هي شاخصة ابصار الذين كفروا يا ويلنا قد كنا في غفلة من هاذا بل كنا ظالمين ٩٧
وَٱقۡتَرَبَ
ٱلۡوَعۡدُ
ٱلۡحَقُّ
فَإِذَا
هِيَ
شَٰخِصَةٌ
أَبۡصَٰرُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
يَٰوَيۡلَنَا
قَدۡ
كُنَّا
فِي
غَفۡلَةٖ
مِّنۡ
هَٰذَا
بَلۡ
كُنَّا
ظَٰلِمِينَ
٩٧
i približi se istinita prijetnja, tada će se pogledi nevjernika ukočiti. “Teško nama, mi smo prema ovom ravnodušni bili, mi smo sami sebi nepravdu učinili!”

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Those who have been destroyed, will never return to this World.
وَحَرَامٌ عَلَى قَرْيَةٍ
(And a ban is laid on every town) Ibn `Abbas said, "it is enforced", i.e., it has been decreed that the people of each township that has been destroyed will never return to this world before the Day of Resurrectio
