Al-Anfal 8:32 واذ قالوا اللهم ان كان هاذا هو الحق من عندك فامطر علينا حجارة من السماء او ايتنا بعذاب اليم ٣٢
وَإِذۡ

هَٰذَا

ٱلۡحَقَّ
مِنۡ
عِندِكَ
فَأَمۡطِرۡ
عَلَيۡنَا
حِجَارَةٗ
مِّنَ
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
أَوِ
ٱئۡتِنَا
بِعَذَابٍ
أَلِيمٖ
٣٢
[Şi adu‑ţi aminte] când au zis ei [idolatrii]: „Doamne, dacă acesta este Adevăr de la Tine, atunci fă să plouă asupra noastră pietre din cer ori adu peste noi osândă dureroasă!”.1

The Quraysh claimed They can produce Something similar to the Qur'an
Allah describes the disbelief, transgression, rebellion, as well as misguided statements that the pagans of Quraysh used to utter when they heard Allah's Ayat being recited to them,
قَدْ سَمِعْنَا لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَقُلْنَا مِثْلَ هَـذَآ
