Al-Anfal 8:43 اذ يريكهم الله في منامك قليلا ولو اراكهم كثيرا لفشلتم ولتنازعتم في الامر ولاكن الله سلم انه عليم بذات الصدور ٤٣
إِذۡ
يُرِيكَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
فِي
مَنَامِكَ
قَلِيلٗاۖ
وَلَوۡ
أَرَىٰكَهُمۡ
كَثِيرٗا
لَّفَشِلۡتُمۡ
وَلَتَنَٰزَعۡتُمۡ
فِي
ٱلۡأَمۡرِ
وَلَٰكِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
سَلَّمَۚ
إِنَّهُۥ
عَلِيمُۢ
بِذَاتِ
ٱلصُّدُورِ
٤٣
Gud visade dig i drömmen att de var få. Om Han hade låtit dig se dem som en stark [armé] skulle ni säkert ha tappat modet och börjat tvista om vad som borde göras. Men Gud besparade [er detta]; Han vet vad som rör sig i människans innersta.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah made each Group look few in the Eye of the Other
Mujahid said, "In a dream, Allah showed the Prophet the enemy as few. The Prophet conveyed this news to his Companions and their resolve strengthened." Similar was said by Ibn Ishaq and several others. Allah said,
وَلَوْ أَرَاكَهُمْ كَثِيراً لَّف
