Al-Anfal 8:44 واذ يريكموهم اذ التقيتم في اعينكم قليلا ويقللكم في اعينهم ليقضي الله امرا كان مفعولا والى الله ترجع الامور ٤٤
وَإِذۡ
يُرِيكُمُوهُمۡ
إِذِ
ٱلۡتَقَيۡتُمۡ
فِيٓ
أَعۡيُنِكُمۡ
قَلِيلٗا
وَيُقَلِّلُكُمۡ
فِيٓ
أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ
لِيَقۡضِيَ
ٱللَّهُ
أَمۡرٗا
كَانَ
مَفۡعُولٗاۗ
وَإِلَى
ٱللَّهِ
تُرۡجَعُ
ٱلۡأُمُورُ
٤٤
۽ (ياد ڪريو) جڏھن اوھين ھڪٻئي جي سامھون ٿيؤ تڏھن (الله) اوھان جي اکين ۾ اُھي ٿورڙا ڪري ڏيکاريا ٿي ۽ انھن (ڪافرن) جي نگاھن ۾ اوھانکي ٿورڙا ڪري ڏيکاريائين ٿي ھن لاءِ ته الله اھو پورو ڪري جيڪو ڪرڻو ھو، ۽ الله ڏانھن (سڀ) ڪم موٽايا ويندا.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah made each Group look few in the Eye of the Other
Mujahid said, "In a dream, Allah showed the Prophet the enemy as few. The Prophet conveyed this news to his Companions and their resolve strengthened." Similar was said by Ibn Ishaq and several others. Allah said,
