Al-Anfal 8:48 واذ زين لهم الشيطان اعمالهم وقال لا غالب لكم اليوم من الناس واني جار لكم فلما تراءت الفيتان نكص على عقبيه وقال اني بريء منكم اني ارى ما لا ترون اني اخاف الله والله شديد العقاب ٤٨
وَإِذۡ
زَيَّنَ
لَهُمُ
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
وَقَالَ
لَا
غَالِبَ
لَكُمُ
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
مِنَ
ٱلنَّاسِ
وَإِنِّي
جَارٞ
لَّكُمۡۖ
فَلَمَّا
تَرَآءَتِ
ٱلۡفِئَتَانِ
نَكَصَ
عَلَىٰ
عَقِبَيۡهِ
وَقَالَ
إِنِّي
بَرِيٓءٞ
مِّنكُمۡ
إِنِّيٓ
أَرَىٰ
مَا
لَا
تَرَوۡنَ
إِنِّيٓ
أَخَافُ
ٱللَّهَۚ
وَٱللَّهُ
شَدِيدُ
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
٤٨
Şi [adu‑ţi aminte] când Şeitan le‑a înfrumuseţat faptele lor, zicând: „Nu este învingător pentru voi printre oameni astăzi, căci eu sunt aliat cu voi1!” Dar când cele două oşti s‑au văzut una pe cealaltă, atunci s‑a întors el pe călcâie şi a zis: „Eu nu am nici o legătură cu voi! Eu văd ceea ce voi nu vedeţi! Eu mă tem de Allah, căci Allah este aspru la pedeapsă!”

The Idolators leave Makkah, heading for Badr
After Allah commanded the believers to fight in His cause sincerely and to be mindful of Him, He commanded not to imitate the idolators, who went out of their homes
بَطَراً
(boastfully) to suppress the truth,
وَرِئَآءَ النَّاسِ
(and to be seen of men), boastin
