Al-Anfal 8:54 كداب ال فرعون والذين من قبلهم كذبوا بايات ربهم فاهلكناهم بذنوبهم واغرقنا ال فرعون وكل كانوا ظالمين ٥٤
كَدَأۡبِ
ءَالِ
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
مِن
قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ
كَذَّبُواْ
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
رَبِّهِمۡ
فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ
وَأَغۡرَقۡنَآ
ءَالَ
فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ
وَكُلّٞ
كَانُواْ
ظَٰلِمِينَ
٥٤
[Ei sunt] asemenea neamului lui Faraon şi celor de dinaintea lor, care au socotit drept mincinoase semnele Domnului lor şi pe care i‑am nimicit pentru păcatele lor şi am înecat Noi neamul lui Faraon, căci toţi erau nelegiuiţi1.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah affirms His perfect justice and fairness in His decisions, for He decided that He will not change a bounty that He has granted someone, except on account of an evil that they committed. Allah said in another Ayah,
