Al-'Ankabut 29:46 ۞ ولا تجادلوا اهل الكتاب الا بالتي هي احسن الا الذين ظلموا منهم وقولوا امنا بالذي انزل الينا وانزل اليكم والاهنا والاهكم واحد ونحن له مسلمون ٤٦
۞ وَلَا
تُجَٰدِلُوٓاْ
أَهۡلَ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
إِلَّا
بِٱلَّتِي
هِيَ
أَحۡسَنُ
إِلَّا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ظَلَمُواْ
مِنۡهُمۡۖ
وَقُولُوٓاْ
ءَامَنَّا
بِٱلَّذِيٓ
أُنزِلَ
إِلَيۡنَا
وَأُنزِلَ
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
وَإِلَٰهُنَا
وَإِلَٰهُكُمۡ
وَٰحِدٞ
وَنَحۡنُ
لَهُۥ
مُسۡلِمُونَ
٤٦
የመጽሐፉን ባለቤቶችም በዚያች እርሷ መልካም በኾነችው ክርክር እንጂ አትከራከሩ፡፡ ከእነርሱ እነዚያን የበደሉትን ሲቀር፡፡ በሉም «በዚያ ወደኛ በተወረደው ወደናንተም በተወረደው አመንን፡፡ አምላካችንም አምላካችሁም አንድ ነው፡፡ እኛም ለእርሱ ታዛዦች ነን፡፡»

What is meant here is that anyone who wants to find out about religion from them should argue with them in a manner that is better, as this will be more effective. Allah says:
