Al-A'raf 7:138 وجاوزنا ببني اسراييل البحر فاتوا على قوم يعكفون على اصنام لهم قالوا يا موسى اجعل لنا الاها كما لهم الهة قال انكم قوم تجهلون ١٣٨
وَجَٰوَزۡنَا
بِبَنِيٓ
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ٱلۡبَحۡرَ
فَأَتَوۡاْ
عَلَىٰ
قَوۡمٖ
يَعۡكُفُونَ
عَلَىٰٓ
أَصۡنَامٖ
لَّهُمۡۚ
قَالُواْ
يَٰمُوسَى
ٱجۡعَل
لَّنَآ
إِلَٰهٗا
كَمَا
لَهُمۡ
ءَالِهَةٞۚ
قَالَ
إِنَّكُمۡ
قَوۡمٞ
تَجۡهَلُونَ
١٣٨
והקלנו על בני-ישראל לחצות את הים, והם באו אל עם שהיו משתחווים לאליליהם. אז אמרו, “הוי משה! עשה לנו אלוה כמו אליליהם”.(ומשה) אמר להם, “אנשים חסרי דעת אתם”.

The Children of Israel safely cross the Sea, but still held on to the Idea of Idol Worshipping
