Al-A'raf 7:168 وقطعناهم في الارض امما منهم الصالحون ومنهم دون ذالك وبلوناهم بالحسنات والسييات لعلهم يرجعون ١٦٨
وَقَطَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
أُمَمٗاۖ
مِّنۡهُمُ
ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ
وَمِنۡهُمۡ
دُونَ
ذَٰلِكَۖ
وَبَلَوۡنَٰهُم
بِٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ
وَٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
يَرۡجِعُونَ
١٦٨
We divided them on the earth as separate communities. Some of them were righteous, while some others were otherwise. We tested them with good and bad times, so that they might return.

The Children of Israel scatter throughout the Land
Allah states that He divided the Jews into various nations, sects and groups,
وَقُلْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ لِبَنِى إِسْرَءِيلَ اسْكُنُواْ الاٌّرْضَ فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ الاٌّخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفًا
