Al-A'raf 7:48 ونادى اصحاب الاعراف رجالا يعرفونهم بسيماهم قالوا ما اغنى عنكم جمعكم وما كنتم تستكبرون ٤٨
وَنَادَىٰٓ
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ٱلۡأَعۡرَافِ
رِجَالٗا
يَعۡرِفُونَهُم
بِسِيمَىٰهُمۡ
قَالُواْ
مَآ
أَغۡنَىٰ
عَنكُمۡ
جَمۡعُكُمۡ
وَمَا
كُنتُمۡ
تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
٤٨
Go adn a thawagn o manga taw ko paglt a manga mama a makikilala iran siran sabap ko manga tanda iran, sa tharoon iran: "Ino miyakalinding rkano so piyanimo iyo (a manga tamok) go so kiyapanakabor iyo?"

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
مَآ أَغْنَى عَنكُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ
("Of what benefit to you was your gathering...") meaning, your great numbers,
وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
("...and your arrogance") This Ayah means, your great numbers and wealth did not save you from Allah's torment. Rather, you are dwelling in His torment and punishm
