Al-A'raf 7:71 قال قد وقع عليكم من ربكم رجس وغضب اتجادلونني في اسماء سميتموها انتم واباوكم ما نزل الله بها من سلطان فانتظروا اني معكم من المنتظرين ٧١
قَالَ
قَدۡ
وَقَعَ
عَلَيۡكُم
مِّن
رَّبِّكُمۡ
رِجۡسٞ
وَغَضَبٌۖ
أَتُجَٰدِلُونَنِي
فِيٓ
أَسۡمَآءٖ
سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ
أَنتُمۡ
وَءَابَآؤُكُم
مَّا
نَزَّلَ
ٱللَّهُ
بِهَا
مِن
سُلۡطَٰنٖۚ
فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ
إِنِّي
مَعَكُم
مِّنَ
ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ
٧١
He said, “The punishment and the anger from your Lord have fallen upon you. Do you quarrel with me about mere names that you and your fathers have concocted and for which Allah has sent down no authority? So, wait. I am one of those waiting with you.”

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah mentions the rebellion, defiance and stubbornness of Hud'speople, and their opposition to him, peace be upon him,
قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَحْدَهُ
(They said: "You have come to us that we should worship Allah Alone") Later on, the disbelievers of Quraysh said,
وَإِذْ قَالُواْ اللّ
