Al-A'raf 7:72 فانجيناه والذين معه برحمة منا وقطعنا دابر الذين كذبوا باياتنا وما كانوا مومنين ٧٢
فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
مَعَهُۥ
بِرَحۡمَةٖ
مِّنَّا
وَقَطَعۡنَا
دَابِرَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَذَّبُواْ
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاۖ
وَمَا
كَانُواْ
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
٧٢
Och i Vår nåd räddade vi honom och dem som var med honom, men dem som avvisade Våra budskap som lögn och förkastade tron lät Vi förgås till sista man.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah mentions the rebellion, defiance and stubbornness of Hud'speople, and their opposition to him, peace be upon him,
قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَحْدَهُ
(They said: "You have come to us that we should worship Allah Alone") Later on, the disbelievers of Quraysh said,
وَإِذْ قَالُواْ اللّ
