Al-Baqarah 2:121 الذين اتيناهم الكتاب يتلونه حق تلاوته اولايك يومنون به ومن يكفر به فاولايك هم الخاسرون ١٢١
ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
يَتۡلُونَهُۥ
حَقَّ
تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
بِهِۦۗ
وَمَن
يَكۡفُرۡ
بِهِۦ
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
هُمُ
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
١٢١
Ang [ilan sa] mga binigyan Namin ng Kasulatan ay bumibigkas nito nang totoong pagbigkas. Ang mga iyon ay sumasampalataya rito [sa Qur’ān]. Ang sinumang tumangging sumampalataya rito, ang mga iyon ay ang mga lugi.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَـرَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ
(Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad ) till you follow their religion.) meaning, `The Jews and the Christians will never be happy with you, O Muhammad! Therefore, do not seek what pleases
…وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَـرَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ
(Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad )
