Al-Baqarah 2:215 يسالونك ماذا ينفقون قل ما انفقتم من خير فللوالدين والاقربين واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل وما تفعلوا من خير فان الله به عليم ٢١٥
يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
مَاذَا
يُنفِقُونَۖ
قُلۡ
مَآ
أَنفَقۡتُم
مِّنۡ
خَيۡرٖ
فَلِلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ
وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَ
وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ
وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ
وَٱبۡنِ
ٱلسَّبِيلِۗ
وَمَا
تَفۡعَلُواْ
مِنۡ
خَيۡرٖ
فَإِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
بِهِۦ
عَلِيمٞ
٢١٥
Muvugishwamana! Ingendanyi zawe zirakubaza ico zotanga n’abo zogiha! Zishure uti: “Ni ivyo mushoboye gutanga mu vyiza bivuye mu matungo yanyu mukabihereza abavyeyi, incuti za hafi mu muryango, impfuvyi, abakene hamwe rero n’abakehaniwe ku rugendo. N’ikindi ico ari co cose muzokora mu vyiza, mu vy’ukuri Imana Allah Irakizi kandi Izokibahembera”.

Muqatil bin Hayyan said that this Ayah was revealed about the voluntary charity. The Ayah means, `They ask you (O Muhammad ) how they should spend,' as Ibn `Abbas and Mujahid have stated. So, Allah explained it for them, saying:
