Al-Baqarah 2:222 ويسالونك عن المحيض قل هو اذى فاعتزلوا النساء في المحيض ولا تقربوهن حتى يطهرن فاذا تطهرن فاتوهن من حيث امركم الله ان الله يحب التوابين ويحب المتطهرين ٢٢٢
وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
عَنِ
ٱلۡمَحِيضِۖ
قُلۡ
هُوَ
أَذٗى
فَٱعۡتَزِلُواْ
ٱلنِّسَآءَ
فِي
ٱلۡمَحِيضِ
وَلَا
تَقۡرَبُوهُنَّ
حَتَّىٰ
يَطۡهُرۡنَۖ
فَإِذَا
تَطَهَّرۡنَ
فَأۡتُوهُنَّ
مِنۡ
حَيۡثُ
أَمَرَكُمُ
ٱللَّهُۚ
إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
يُحِبُّ
ٱلتَّوَّٰبِينَ
وَيُحِبُّ
ٱلۡمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
٢٢٢
Muvugishwamana! Barakubaza ku bijanye n’ubutinyanka. Bishure uti: “Ubutinyanka burabangamye! Muririnda rero kurangura amabanga y’abubatse mu gihe abakenyezi bari mu butinyanka. Ntimuzohirahire rero ngo murangurane na bo amabanga y’abubatse gushika babuvemwo baheze bihumanure mu kwiyuhagira. Nibabuvamwo bakiyuhagira, muraheza murangurane na bo amabanga y’abubatse aho murekuriwe n’Imana Allah. Mu vy’ukuri, Imana Allah Irakunda abigaya kenshi, Iranakunda abisukuye mu kwiyeza ivyaha n’umwanda”.

Sexual Intercourse with Menstruating Women is prohibited
Imam Ahmad recorded that Anas said that the Jews used to avoid their menstruating women, they would not eat, or even mingle with them in the house. The Companions of the Prophet asked about this matter and Allah revealed:
