Al-Baqarah 2:224 ولا تجعلوا الله عرضة لايمانكم ان تبروا وتتقوا وتصلحوا بين الناس والله سميع عليم ٢٢٤
وَلَا
تَجۡعَلُواْ
ٱللَّهَ
عُرۡضَةٗ
لِّأَيۡمَٰنِكُمۡ
أَن
تَبَرُّواْ
وَتَتَّقُواْ
وَتُصۡلِحُواْ
بَيۡنَ
ٱلنَّاسِۚ
وَٱللَّهُ
سَمِيعٌ
عَلِيمٞ
٢٢٤
Bislamu! Ntimukagire indahiro zanyu ku Mana Allah inzitizi ibabuza gukorera ineza benewanyu, kugamburukira Imana Allah, hamwe rero no gutunganiriza abantu1. Burya Imana Allah ni Nyenukwumva, Irumva ivyo muvuga; Nyenubumenyikurivyose, Irazi neza ivyo mukora n’ivyo muzirikana.

The Prohibition of swearing to abandon a Good Deed
Allah commands, `You should not implement your vows in Allah's Name to refrain from pious acts and severing the relations with the relatives, if you swear to abandon such causes.' Allah said in another Ayah:
