Al-Baqarah 2:241 وللمطلقات متاع بالمعروف حقا على المتقين ٢٤١
وَلِلۡمُطَلَّقَٰتِ
مَتَٰعُۢ
بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۖ
حَقًّا
عَلَى
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
٢٤١
(241) އަދި ވަރިވެވިފައިވާ އަންހެނުންނަށް ރަނގަޅުގޮތުގައި مُتْعَةُ ދިނުމީ (ފޭރާމާއި نَفَقَة ދިނުމީ) تقوى ވެރިންނަށްވާ حقّ އެކެވެ.
• ދަންނައެވެ! މިއާޔަތުގައި މިވަނީ އަނބިމީހާއާއި جِمَاعُ ވުމަށްފަހު ވަރިކުރެވުނުމީހާގެ ވާހަކައެވެ.

Ayah (2:240) was abrogated
The majority of the scholars said that this Ayah (2:240) was abrogated by the Ayah (2:234), what Allah said:
يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا
(...they (the wives) shall wait (as regards their marriage) for four months and ten days.) (2:234)
