Al-Baqarah 2:250 ولما برزوا لجالوت وجنوده قالوا ربنا افرغ علينا صبرا وثبت اقدامنا وانصرنا على القوم الكافرين ٢٥٠
وَلَمَّا
بَرَزُواْ
لِجَالُوتَ
وَجُنُودِهِۦ
قَالُواْ
رَبَّنَآ
أَفۡرِغۡ
عَلَيۡنَا
صَبۡرٗا
وَثَبِّتۡ
أَقۡدَامَنَا
وَٱنصُرۡنَا
عَلَى
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
٢٥٠
Da de rykket frem mot Goliat og hans hær, ropte de: «Herre, send over oss standhaftighet og la våre føtter stå fast, og hjelp oss mot det vantro folk!»

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
When the faithful party, who were few under the command of Talut, faced their enemy, who were many under the command of Jalut,
قَالُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا
(they invoked: "Our Lord! Pour forth on us patience...") meaning, send down patience on us from You.
وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا
