Al-Furqan 25:18 قالوا سبحانك ما كان ينبغي لنا ان نتخذ من دونك من اولياء ولاكن متعتهم واباءهم حتى نسوا الذكر وكانوا قوما بورا ١٨
قَالُواْ
سُبۡحَٰنَكَ
مَا
كَانَ
يَنۢبَغِي
لَنَآ
أَن
نَّتَّخِذَ
مِن
دُونِكَ
مِنۡ
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
وَلَٰكِن
مَّتَّعۡتَهُمۡ
وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ
حَتَّىٰ
نَسُواْ
ٱلذِّكۡرَ
وَكَانُواْ
قَوۡمَۢا
بُورٗا
١٨
De skall svara: "Stor är Du i Din härlighet! Vi [själva] hade inte rätt att ta andra än Dig till beskyddare; Du lät dem och deras förfäder njuta av livets goda till dess de [helt] glömde att åkalla Dig; de var [som] förtorkat, obrukbart land."

The gods of the Idolators will disown Them on the Day of Resurrection
Allah tells us about what will happen on the Day of Resurrection, when those whom the idolators used to worship instead of Allah, angels and others, will rebuke them. Allah says:
