Al-Furqan 25:20 وما ارسلنا قبلك من المرسلين الا انهم لياكلون الطعام ويمشون في الاسواق وجعلنا بعضكم لبعض فتنة اتصبرون وكان ربك بصيرا ٢٠
وَمَآ
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
قَبۡلَكَ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
إِلَّآ
إِنَّهُمۡ
لَيَأۡكُلُونَ
ٱلطَّعَامَ
وَيَمۡشُونَ
فِي
ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِۗ
وَجَعَلۡنَا
بَعۡضَكُمۡ
لِبَعۡضٖ
فِتۡنَةً
أَتَصۡبِرُونَۗ
وَكَانَ
رَبُّكَ
بَصِيرٗا
٢٠
A neposlali jsme před tebou posly žádné, kteří by nebyli pokrmy pojídali a po trzích chodili. A učinili jsme jedny z vás pokušením pro jiné, abychom zjistili, zda neochvějní budete. A Pán tvůj vše bystře pozoruje.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفاً وَلاَ نَصْراً
(then you can neither avert nor find help.) means: they will not be able to avert the punishment from themselves, nor will they be able to help themselves.
