Al-Furqan 25:21 ۞ وقال الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا لولا انزل علينا الملايكة او نرى ربنا لقد استكبروا في انفسهم وعتوا عتوا كبيرا ٢١
۞ وَقَالَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
لَا
يَرۡجُونَ
لِقَآءَنَا
لَوۡلَآ
أُنزِلَ
عَلَيۡنَا
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
أَوۡ
نَرَىٰ
رَبَّنَاۗ
لَقَدِ
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
فِيٓ
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
وَعَتَوۡ
عُتُوّٗا
كَبِيرٗا
٢١
A říkají ti, kdož nemají naději na setkání s Námi: "Kdyby k nám byli sesláni andělé či kdybychom uzřeli Pána svého, věřili bychom!" A zpyšněli v duších svých a povyšovali se velmi domýšlivě.

The Stubbornness of the Disbelievers
Allah describes how stubborn the disbelievers were in their disbelief when they said:
لِقَآءَنَا لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا
(Why are not the angels sent down to us,) meaning, `so that we may see them with our own eyes and they may tell us that Muhammad ﷺ is the Messe
