Al-Hijr 15:39 قال رب بما اغويتني لازينن لهم في الارض ولاغوينهم اجمعين ٣٩
قَالَ
رَبِّ
بِمَآ
أَغۡوَيۡتَنِي
لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ
لَهُمۡ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
وَلَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ
أَجۡمَعِينَ
٣٩
Er sprach: "Mein Herr, da Du mich hast abirren lassen, so will ich ihnen wahrlich (das Böse) auf Erden ausschmücken, und wahrlich, ich will sie allesamt irreführen

The Threat of Iblis to tempt Mankind, and Allah's Promise of Hell for him
Allah informed about the rebellion and arrogance of Iblis, in that he said to the Lord:
بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى
(Because You misled me,) i.e., because You misled me and misguided me.
لأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ
