Al-Isra 17:37 ولا تمش في الارض مرحا انك لن تخرق الارض ولن تبلغ الجبال طولا ٣٧
وَلَا
تَمۡشِ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
مَرَحًاۖ
إِنَّكَ
لَن
تَخۡرِقَ
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
وَلَن
تَبۡلُغَ
ٱلۡجِبَالَ
طُولٗا

இன்னும், பூமியில் கர்வம் கொண்டவனாக நடக்காதே. நிச்சயமாக நீ பூமியை அறவே கிழிக்கவும் முடியாது. இன்னும், நீ மலைகளின் உயரத்தை அறவே அடையவும் முடியாது.

Condemnation of strutting
Allah forbids His servants to strut and walk in a boastful manner:
وَلاَ تَمْشِ فِى الاٌّرْضِ مَرَحًا
(And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance.) meaning, walking in boastful manner and acting proud, like those who are arrogant oppressors.
إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ الاٌّ
