Al-Isra 17:94 وما منع الناس ان يومنوا اذ جاءهم الهدى الا ان قالوا ابعث الله بشرا رسولا ٩٤
وَمَا

ٱلنَّاسَ
أَن
يُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ
إِذۡ
جَآءَهُمُ
ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ
إِلَّآ
أَن
قَالُوٓاْ
أَبَعَثَ
ٱللَّهُ
بَشَرٗا
رَّسُولٗا
٩٤
තවද ජනයා වෙත යහ මග පැමිණි විට "අල්ලාහ් ධර්ම දූතයකු වශයෙන් මිනිසෙකුවද යැව්වේ" යැයි විමසීම මිස වෙනත් කිසිවක් ඔවුන් විශ්වාස කිරීමෙන් ඔවුන්ව වැළැක්වූයේ නැත.

The refusal of the Idolators to believe because the Messenger was a Human -- and its refutation
وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ
(And nothing prevented men) means, most of them,
أَن يُؤْمِنُواْ
(from believing) and following the Messengers, except the fact that they found it strange that human beings would be sent
