Al-Jinn 72:17 لنفتنهم فيه ومن يعرض عن ذكر ربه يسلكه عذابا صعدا ١٧
لِّنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ
فِيهِۚ
وَمَن
يُعۡرِضۡ
عَن
ذِكۡرِ
رَبِّهِۦ
يَسۡلُكۡهُ
عَذَابٗا
صَعَدٗا
١٧
for derved å sette dem på prøve. Og den som snur seg bort fra Herrens formaning, sender Han til en svær straff.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
The Jinns testify that among Them there are Believers, Disbelievers, Misguided and Guided
Allah says that the Jinns said about themselves,
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الصَّـلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَلِكَ
(There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary;) meaning, other than that.
كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ ق
