Al-Kahf 18:18 وتحسبهم ايقاظا وهم رقود ونقلبهم ذات اليمين وذات الشمال وكلبهم باسط ذراعيه بالوصيد لو اطلعت عليهم لوليت منهم فرارا ولمليت منهم رعبا ١٨
وَتَحۡسَبُهُمۡ
أَيۡقَاظٗا
وَهُمۡ
رُقُودٞۚ
وَنُقَلِّبُهُمۡ
ذَاتَ
ٱلۡيَمِينِ
وَذَاتَ
ٱلشِّمَالِۖ
وَكَلۡبُهُم
بَٰسِطٞ
ذِرَاعَيۡهِ
بِٱلۡوَصِيدِۚ
لَوِ
ٱطَّلَعۡتَ
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
لَوَلَّيۡتَ
مِنۡهُمۡ
فِرَارٗا
وَلَمُلِئۡتَ
مِنۡهُمۡ
رُعۡبٗا
١٨
Ubonye rero ukuntu benisenga bari bameze, wokwibajije ko bakanura kandi basinziriye. Twebwe Allah, Twaguma Tubahindukiza ku rubavu rw’iburyo n’urw’ibubamfu, kugira ibihimba vyabo ntibibore ngo biribwe n’umuswa. Imbwa yabo bari kumwe, yari irambije ku bwinjiriro bwa nya senga nk’aho yoba ibacungereye. Uturukiriye aho bari, ubabonye wari gutungwa n’ayo wameze, wari no kwicwa n’ubwoba budasanzwe.

Their Sleep in the Cave
Some of the scholars mentioned that when Allah caused them to sleep, their eyelids did not close, lest disintegration took hold of them. If their eyes remained open to the air, this would be better for the sake of preservation. Allah says:
وَتَحْسَبُهُمْ أَيْقَاظًا وَهُمْ رُقُو
