Al-Kahf 18:42 واحيط بثمره فاصبح يقلب كفيه على ما انفق فيها وهي خاوية على عروشها ويقول يا ليتني لم اشرك بربي احدا ٤٢
وَأُحِيطَ
بِثَمَرِهِۦ
فَأَصۡبَحَ
يُقَلِّبُ
كَفَّيۡهِ
عَلَىٰ
مَآ
أَنفَقَ
فِيهَا
وَهِيَ
خَاوِيَةٌ
عَلَىٰ
عُرُوشِهَا
وَيَقُولُ
يَٰلَيۡتَنِي
لَمۡ
أُشۡرِكۡ
بِرَبِّيٓ
أَحَدٗا
٤٢
Då drabbades [den andres] vingårdar [av total ödeläggelse] och han vred sina händer [i förtvivlan] över vad han gett ut för det som [nu] förstörts och han utbrast: "Om jag ändå hade avhållit mig från att sätta någon annan vid Guds sida!"

The Evil Results of Kufr
Allah says:
وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِ
(So his fruits were encircled), meaning his wealth, or according to the other opinion, his crops. What is meant is that what this disbeliever was afraid of and what the believer had terrified him actually had happened. A storm struck his garden,
