Al-Kahf 18:55 وما منع الناس ان يومنوا اذ جاءهم الهدى ويستغفروا ربهم الا ان تاتيهم سنة الاولين او ياتيهم العذاب قبلا ٥٥
وَمَا
مَنَعَ
ٱلنَّاسَ
أَن
يُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ
إِذۡ
جَآءَهُمُ
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ
رَبَّهُمۡ
إِلَّآ
أَن
تَأۡتِيَهُمۡ
سُنَّةُ
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
أَوۡ
يَأۡتِيَهُمُ
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
قُبُلٗا
٥٥
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਹਿਦਾਇਤ ਆ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਈਮਾਨ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੱਬ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਆਫ਼ੀ ਮੰਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੇ ਰੋਕ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੁਝ ਬੀਤ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ ਅਜ਼ਾਬ) ਉਹ ਕੁੱਝ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਵਾਪਰੇ ਜਾਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਵੀ ਉਹੀਓ ਅਜ਼ਾਬ ਆਵੇ।
