Al-Ma'idah 5:46 وقفينا على اثارهم بعيسى ابن مريم مصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة واتيناه الانجيل فيه هدى ونور ومصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وهدى وموعظة للمتقين ٤٦
وَقَفَّيۡنَا
عَلَىٰٓ
ءَاثَٰرِهِم
بِعِيسَى
ٱبۡنِ
مَرۡيَمَ
مُصَدِّقٗا
لِّمَا
بَيۡنَ
يَدَيۡهِ
مِنَ
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِۖ
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ
ٱلۡإِنجِيلَ
فِيهِ
هُدٗى
وَنُورٞ
وَمُصَدِّقٗا
لِّمَا
بَيۡنَ
يَدَيۡهِ
مِنَ
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ
وَهُدٗى
وَمَوۡعِظَةٗ
لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
٤٦
A fi ‘Īsā ọmọ Mọryam tẹ̀lé orípa wọn (ìyẹn, àwọn Ànábì tí wọ́n jẹ́ mùsùlùmí); tí ó ń fi ohun tó jẹ́ òdodo rinlẹ̀ nípa èyí tó ṣíwájú rẹ̀ nínú at-Taorāh. A sì fún un ní al-’Injīl. Ìmọ̀nà àti ìmọ́lẹ̀ wà nínú rẹ̀, tí ó ń fi ohun tó jẹ́ òdodo rinlẹ̀ nípa èyí tó ṣíwájú rẹ̀ nínú at-Taorāh. (Ó jẹ́) ìmọ̀nà àti wáàsí fún àwọn olùbẹ̀rù (Allāhu ní àsìkò tirẹ̀).

Allah Mentions `Isa and Praises the Injil
Allah said,
وَقَفَّيْنَا
(and We sent...) meaning, We sent
عَلَى ءَاثَـرِهِمْ
(in their footsteps) meaning the Prophets of the Children of Israel,
بِعَيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَوْرَاةِ
(`Isa, son of Maryam, confirming the Tawrah
