Al-Ma'idah 5:46 وقفينا على اثارهم بعيسى ابن مريم مصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة واتيناه الانجيل فيه هدى ونور ومصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة وهدى وموعظة للمتقين ٤٦
وَقَفَّيۡنَا
عَلَىٰٓ
ءَاثَٰرِهِم
بِعِيسَى
ٱبۡنِ
مَرۡيَمَ
مُصَدِّقٗا
لِّمَا
بَيۡنَ
يَدَيۡهِ
مِنَ
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِۖ
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ
ٱلۡإِنجِيلَ
فِيهِ
هُدٗى
وَنُورٞ
وَمُصَدِّقٗا
لِّمَا
بَيۡنَ
يَدَيۡهِ
مِنَ
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ
وَهُدٗى
وَمَوۡعِظَةٗ
لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
٤٦
Waxaana Raacsiinay Raadkoodii ciise Ibnu Maryama Isagoo Rumayn, wixii Hortiisa ahaa oo Tawreeda, waxaana Siinay Injiil oo Hanuun iyo Nuur ku Suganyahay, una Rumayn wixii ka Horeeyey oo Tawreeda Hanuun iyo Waanana u ah kuwa Dhawrsada.

Allah Mentions `Isa and Praises the Injil
Allah said,
وَقَفَّيْنَا
(and We sent...) meaning, We sent
عَلَى ءَاثَـرِهِمْ
(in their footsteps) meaning the Prophets of the Children of Israel,
بِعَيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَوْرَاةِ
(`Isa, son of Maryam, confirming the Tawrah
