Al-Mu'minun 23:116 فتعالى الله الملك الحق لا الاه الا هو رب العرش الكريم ١١٦
فَتَعَٰلَى
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلۡمَلِكُ
ٱلۡحَقُّۖ
لَآ
إِلَٰهَ
إِلَّا
هُوَ
رَبُّ
ٱلۡعَرۡشِ
ٱلۡكَرِيمِ
١١٦
王であり、真理であられるアッラー*は、（そのような無意味な行いから）高遠なお方。貴い御座[1]の主*、かれの外に（真に）崇拝*すべきものはない。 1

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah tells them how much they wasted in their short lives in this world by failing to obey Allah and worship Him Alone.
If they had been patient during their short stay in this world, they would have attained victory just like His pious close friends.
قَـلَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِى الاٌّرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِين
