Al-Mu'minun 23:76 ولقد اخذناهم بالعذاب فما استكانوا لربهم وما يتضرعون ٧٦
وَلَقَدۡ
أَخَذۡنَٰهُم
بِٱلۡعَذَابِ
فَمَا
ٱسۡتَكَانُواْ
لِرَبِّهِمۡ
وَمَا
يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
٧٦
Na sabnsabnar a piyaka dansal Ami kiran so siksa, na da siran sangkop ko Kadnan iran, go di siran phangangarapan!

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَـهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ
(And indeed We seized them with punishment,) means, `We tried and tested them with difficulties and calamities.' His saying:
فَمَا اسْتَكَانُواْ لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
(but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke with submission to Hi
