Al-Mu'minun 23:80 وهو الذي يحيي ويميت وله اختلاف الليل والنهار افلا تعقلون ٨٠
وَهُوَ
ٱلَّذِي
يُحۡيِۦ
وَيُمِيتُ
وَلَهُ
ٱخۡتِلَٰفُ
ٱلَّيۡلِ
وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ
أَفَلَا
تَعۡقِلُونَ
٨٠
۽ (الله) اُھو آھي جيڪو جياري ٿو ۽ ماري ٿو ۽ رات ۽ ڏينھن جو ڦير ڦار ڪرڻ ان جو (ڪم) آھي، پوءِ نه سمجھندا آھيو ڇا؟
Read Tafsir
Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَـهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ
(And indeed We seized them with punishment,) means, `We tried and tested them with difficulties and calamities.' His saying:
فَمَا اسْتَكَانُواْ لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
(but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke with submission to Hi
