ثُمَّ
نُتۡبِعُهُمُ
ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

Allah says,
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الاٌّوَّلِينَ
(Did We not destroy the ancients) meaning, those who rejected the Messengers and opposed what they came to them with.
