Chapter 68, Page 564, Juz 29

1. Nūn , by the pen and what they write, 2. with the grace of your Lord, you are not insane. 3. And you will definitely have a reward that will never end. 4. And you are surely on an excellent standard of character. 5. So, you will see, and they will see 6. which of you is demented. 7. Surely your Lord knows best who has strayed from his way, and He is well aware of those who are on the right path. 8. So, do not obey those who reject (the true faith.) 9. They wish that you become flexible (in your faith), so that they should become flexible (in their hostile attitude.) 10. And do not obey any contemptible one who swears much, 11. a slanderer who goes about with calumnies, 12. one who prevents good, (and who is) transgressor, sinful, 13. harsh, (and) after all that, notorious, 14. (do not obey such a person merely) because he is a man of wealth and sons. 15. When Our verses are recited to him, he says, “(These are) the tales of the ancient.” 16. We will soon brand him on the snout.
