Al-Qasas 28:53 واذا يتلى عليهم قالوا امنا به انه الحق من ربنا انا كنا من قبله مسلمين ٥٣

28:53

وَإِذَا

يُتۡلَىٰ

عَلَيۡهِمۡ

قَالُوٓاْ

ءَامَنَّا

بِهِۦٓ

إِنَّهُ

ٱلۡحَقُّ

مِن

رَّبِّنَآ

إِنَّا

كُنَّا

مِن

قَبۡلِهِۦ

مُسۡلِمِينَ

٥٣

Àti pé nígbà tí wọ́n bá ń ké e fún wọn, wọ́n á sọ pé: “A gbà á gbọ́. Dájúdájú òdodo ni láti ọ̀dọ̀ Olúwa wa. Dájúdájú àwa ti jẹ́ mùsùlùmí ṣíwájú rẹ̀.”¹

The Believers among the People of the Book

Allah tells us that the pious scholars among the People of the Book believe in the Qur'an, as He says:

الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَـهُمُ الْكِتَـبَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ

(Those to whom We gave the Book recite it as it should be recite

51. Àti pé dájúdájú A ti ṣe àlàyé ọ̀rọ̀ náà fún wọn nítorí kí wọ́n lè lo ìrántí. 52. Àwọn tí A fún ní Tírà ṣíwájú rẹ̀, wọ́n gbàgbọ́ nínú al-Ƙur’ān. 53. Àti pé nígbà tí wọ́n bá ń ké e fún wọn, wọ́n á sọ pé: “A gbà á gbọ́. Dájúdájú òdodo ni láti ọ̀dọ̀ Olúwa wa. Dájúdájú àwa ti jẹ́ mùsùlùmí ṣíwájú rẹ̀.” 54. Àti pé nígbà tí wọ́n bá gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ burúkú, wọ́n á ṣẹ́rí kúrò níbẹ̀, wọ́n á sì sọ pé: “Tiwa ni àwọn iṣẹ́ wa. Tiyín sì ni àwọn iṣẹ́ yín. Kí àlàáfíà máa ba yín. A kò wá àwọn aláìmọ̀kan (ní alábàáṣepọ̀).”
