Al-Qasas 28:53 واذا يتلى عليهم قالوا امنا به انه الحق من ربنا انا كنا من قبله مسلمين ٥٣
وَإِذَا
يُتۡلَىٰ
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
قَالُوٓاْ
ءَامَنَّا
بِهِۦٓ
إِنَّهُ
ٱلۡحَقُّ
مِن
رَّبِّنَآ
إِنَّا
كُنَّا
مِن
قَبۡلِهِۦ
مُسۡلِمِينَ
٥٣
Kun sitä heille luetaan, he sanovat: »Me uskomme siihen. Totisesti, se on Herramme lähettämä totuus, ja totisesti me olimme jo tätä ennen Jumalan alamaisia.»

The Believers among the People of the Book
Allah tells us that the pious scholars among the People of the Book believe in the Qur'an, as He says:
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَـهُمُ الْكِتَـبَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ
(Those to whom We gave the Book recite it as it should be recite
