Al-Qasas 28:55 واذا سمعوا اللغو اعرضوا عنه وقالوا لنا اعمالنا ولكم اعمالكم سلام عليكم لا نبتغي الجاهلين ٥٥
وَإِذَا
سَمِعُواْ
ٱللَّغۡوَ
أَعۡرَضُواْ
عَنۡهُ
وَقَالُواْ
لَنَآ
أَعۡمَٰلُنَا
وَلَكُمۡ
أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡ
سَلَٰمٌ
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
لَا
نَبۡتَغِي
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
٥٥
また彼らは、戯言[1]を耳にすれば、それに背を向けて（こう）言った。「私たちには私たちの行いがあり、あなた方にはあなた方の行いがあります。あなた方に平安を[2]。私たちは、無知な者たち（のやり方）を望まないのですから」。 1

The Believers among the People of the Book
Allah tells us that the pious scholars among the People of the Book believe in the Qur'an, as He says:
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَـهُمُ الْكِتَـبَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ
(Those to whom We gave the Book recite it as it should be recite
