Al-Qasas 28:55 واذا سمعوا اللغو اعرضوا عنه وقالوا لنا اعمالنا ولكم اعمالكم سلام عليكم لا نبتغي الجاهلين ٥٥
وَإِذَا
سَمِعُواْ
ٱللَّغۡوَ
أَعۡرَضُواْ
عَنۡهُ
وَقَالُواْ
لَنَآ
أَعۡمَٰلُنَا
وَلَكُمۡ
أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡ
سَلَٰمٌ
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
لَا
نَبۡتَغِي
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
٥٥
Onlar boş (yersiz) bir söz eşitdikləri zaman ondan üz çevirib: “Bizim əməllərimiz bizə, sizin əməlləriniz də sizə aiddir. (Hərə öz əməlinə cavabdehdir). Sizə salam olsun! (Salamat qalın. Bizimki bizdə, sizinki də sizdə!) Biz cahilləri (cahillərlə yoldaşlıq etmək, onların söz-söhbətinə qulaq asmaq, sonra da onlarla çənə-boğaz olmaq) istəmirik!” – deyirlər.

The Believers among the People of the Book
Allah tells us that the pious scholars among the People of the Book believe in the Qur'an, as He says:
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَـهُمُ الْكِتَـبَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ
(Those to whom We gave the Book recite it as it should be recite
