Ali 'Imran 3:55 اذ قال الله يا عيسى اني متوفيك ورافعك الي ومطهرك من الذين كفروا وجاعل الذين اتبعوك فوق الذين كفروا الى يوم القيامة ثم الي مرجعكم فاحكم بينكم فيما كنتم فيه تختلفون ٥٥
إِذۡ
قَالَ
ٱللَّهُ
يَٰعِيسَىٰٓ
إِنِّي
مُتَوَفِّيكَ
وَرَافِعُكَ
إِلَيَّ
وَمُطَهِّرُكَ
مِنَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
وَجَاعِلُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
ٱتَّبَعُوكَ
فَوۡقَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوٓاْ
إِلَىٰ
يَوۡمِ
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۖ
ثُمَّ
إِلَيَّ
مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ
فَأَحۡكُمُ
بَيۡنَكُمۡ
فِيمَا
كُنتُمۡ
فِيهِ
تَخۡتَلِفُونَ
٥٥
(And it was part of His scheme) when Allah said: 'O Jesus! I will recall you1 and raise you up to Me and will purify you (of the company) of those who disbelieve,2 and will set your followers above the unbelievers till the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me you shall return, and I will judge between you regarding what you differed.

Meaning of `Take You
Allah said,
إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَىَّ
(I will take you and raise you to Myself) while you are asleep. Allah said in a similar Ayat,
وَهُوَ الَّذِى يَتَوَفَّـكُم بِالَّيْلِ
(It is He Who takes your souls by night (when you are asleep).) 6:60, and,
