Al-Furqan 25:23 وقدمنا الى ما عملوا من عمل فجعلناه هباء منثورا ٢٣
وَقَدِمۡنَآ
إِلَىٰ
مَا
عَمِلُواْ
مِنۡ
عَمَلٖ
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ
هَبَآءٗ
مَّنثُورًا
٢٣
وقَدِمْنا إلى ما عملوه مِن مظاهر الخير والبر، فجعلناه باطلا مضمحلا لا ينفعهم كالهباء المنثور، وهو ما يُرى في ضوء الشمس من خفيف الغبار؛ وذلك أن العمل لا ينفع في الآخرة إلا إذا توفر في صاحبه: الإيمان بالله، والإخلاص له، والمتابعة لرسوله محمد، صلى الله عليه وسلم.

The Stubbornness of the Disbelievers
Allah describes how stubborn the disbelievers were in their disbelief when they said:
لِقَآءَنَا لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا
(Why are not the angels sent down to us,) meaning, `so that we may see them with our own eyes and they may tell us that Muhammad ﷺ is the Messe
