فكذبوه فاهلكناهم ان في ذالك لاية وما كان اكثرهم مومنين ١٣٩

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ١٣٩

So they rejected him, and ˹so˺ We destroyed them. Surely in this is a sign. Yet most of them would not believe.
