Ash-Shuraa 42:7 وكذالك اوحينا اليك قرانا عربيا لتنذر ام القرى ومن حولها وتنذر يوم الجمع لا ريب فيه فريق في الجنة وفريق في السعير ٧
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
أَوۡحَيۡنَآ
إِلَيۡكَ
قُرۡءَانًا
عَرَبِيّٗا
لِّتُنذِرَ
أُمَّ
ٱلۡقُرَىٰ
وَمَنۡ
حَوۡلَهَا
وَتُنذِرَ
يَوۡمَ
ٱلۡجَمۡعِ
لَا
رَيۡبَ
فِيهِۚ
فَرِيقٞ
فِي
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
وَفَرِيقٞ
فِي
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
٧
Und so haben Wir dir einen arabischen Qur’an (als Offenbarung) eingegeben, damit du die Mutter der Städte und diejenigen rings umher warnst, und damit du vor dem Tag der Versammlung warnst, an dem es keinen Zweifel gibt. Eine Gruppe wird im (Paradies)garten sein und eine Gruppe in der Feuerglut.

The Qur'an was revealed to serve as a Warning
Allah says, `just as We sent revelation to the Prophets before you,'
أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ قُرْءَاناً عَرَبِيّاً
