At-Tahrim 66:9 يا ايها النبي جاهد الكفار والمنافقين واغلظ عليهم وماواهم جهنم وبيس المصير ٩
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
جَٰهِدِ
ٱلۡكُفَّارَ
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
وَٱغۡلُظۡ
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
جَهَنَّمُۖ
وَبِئۡسَ
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
٩
O Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be severe against them; their abode will be Hell, and worst indeed is that destination.1

The Command for Jihad against the Disbelievers and the Hypocrites
Allah the Exalted orders His Messenger to perform Jihad against the disbelievers and hypocrites, the former with weapons and armaments and the later by establishing Allah's legislated penal code,
وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ
