إِذَا
ٱلشَّمۡسُ
كُوِّرَتۡ

When the sun is wound round and its light is lost and is overthrown.1

Imam Ahmad recorded from Ibn `Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
«مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ رَأْيُ عَيْنٍ فَلْيَقْرَأْ:
إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
و
إِذَا السَّمَآءُ انفَطَرَتْ
و
إِذَا السَّمَآءُ ان
