At-Tawbah 9:23 يا ايها الذين امنوا لا تتخذوا اباءكم واخوانكم اولياء ان استحبوا الكفر على الايمان ومن يتولهم منكم فاولايك هم الظالمون ٢٣
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُواْ
لَا
تَتَّخِذُوٓاْ
ءَابَآءَكُمۡ
وَإِخۡوَٰنَكُمۡ
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
إِنِ
ٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ
ٱلۡكُفۡرَ
عَلَى
ٱلۡإِيمَٰنِۚ
وَمَن
يَتَوَلَّهُم
مِّنكُمۡ
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
هُمُ
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
٢٣
O, voi cei ce credeţi! Nu-i ţineţi de prieteni pe taţii şi pe fraţii voştri, dacă ei iubesc mai mult tăgada decât credinţa. Cei dintre voi care îi vor fi luat ca prieteni, sunt nedrepţi.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
The Prohibition of taking the Idolators as Supporters, even with Relatives
Allah commands shunning the disbelievers, even if they are one's parents or children, and prohibits taking them as supporters if they choose disbelief instead of faith. Allah warns,
لاَّ تَجِدُ قَوْماً يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَا
